Terms of Service

Last updated September 22, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and CKKC Associates LLC (“CKKC”, “we”, “us”), which operates Triverdict at triverdict.com. They apply when you create an account, submit a question, or buy a research project. If you accept them on behalf of a company, you confirm you’re authorized to bind it, and “you” means the company.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information and forms part of these terms.

1. What Triverdict is

Triverdict is a research service for business decisions. You submit a question, we ask clarifying questions where the answer depends on them, and we research it using AI models and public web sources. A CKKC operator reviews the resulting brief before it’s released to your workspace. What each tier includes is described on our home page and at checkout.

Triverdict is for business use by people 18 and over. It’s not a consumer product.

2. What a brief is, and what it isn't

A brief is research and analysis to inform your decision. It isn’t legal, financial, investment, tax, accounting, medical or other professional advice, and it isn’t a guarantee of any outcome. The decision, and what you do with the brief, are yours.

Briefs are produced with AI and draw on third-party sources. They can contain errors, omissions, or information that has gone out of date, and sources can be wrong. Operator review is a quality check, not an audit or an independent verification of every statement. Check anything material before you rely on it.

3. Your account

You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email, so keep that email account secure. You’re responsible for what happens in your workspace, including the actions of people you give access to. Tell us promptly at info@ckkcassociates.com if you think someone has used your account without permission.

4. Price and payment

Each research project has a fixed price, shown before you pay and charged in US dollars through Stripe when you check out. Research starts after payment. There’s no subscription and no charge based on how much research a project takes. You’re responsible for any taxes that apply to your purchase, other than taxes on our income.

We may change our prices, but a change never affects a project you’ve already paid for.

5. Refunds

  • If we can’t deliver. If we can’t deliver a brief for a project you’ve paid for, we’ll refund it in full.
  • Before research starts. If you change your mind after paying but before the research has started, email info@ckkcassociates.com and we’ll refund it in full.
  • After delivery. If a brief doesn’t address the question you submitted, tell us within 14 days of delivery. We’ll either re-run the research or refund you, at our choice.

Otherwise, once research has started, fees are non-refundable except where the law requires. Refunds go back to the original payment method.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of the questions, answers and material you give us (“your content”). You allow us to use your content only to provide Triverdict to you: running and reviewing your research, supporting you, and keeping the service secure. That includes sending it to the service providers listed in our Privacy Policy for those purposes. We don’t use your content to train AI models.

You confirm that you have the right to share your content with us, and that sharing it doesn’t breach a confidentiality obligation or anyone else’s rights.

7. Your brief

Once you’ve paid for a project, the brief and other deliverables produced for you are yours to use, share and adapt as you like. We keep ownership of Triverdict itself: the software, methods, prompts and templates used to produce briefs. Quoted third-party material in a brief stays subject to its owner’s rights.

We won’t publish your brief or name you as a customer without your permission.

8. Confidentiality

We treat your content and your briefs as confidential. Only the people and service providers who need them to run and review your research, support you, or keep the service secure can access them, and staff access through our operator tools is logged. We’ll disclose them only if the law requires, and where the law allows we’ll tell you first.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Triverdict to:

  • research a private individual, or compile information about a person's private life;
  • decide whether someone is eligible for credit, insurance, employment, housing or any other purpose covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act or similar laws (Triverdict isn't a consumer reporting agency, and briefs aren't consumer reports);
  • break the law, infringe anyone's rights, or harass, defame or discriminate against anyone;
  • submit health information, government ID numbers, financial account numbers or other sensitive personal information;
  • probe, attack or overload our systems, try to reach another customer's data, or use the research to reach systems you aren't authorized to access;
  • resell or give third parties access to your account, or access Triverdict by automated means other than those we provide.

We may decline a question that falls outside these terms, and we’ll refund it in full if you’ve already paid.

10. Third-party services

Triverdict relies on service providers, including Stripe for payments. Stripe’s own terms apply to your payment. We aren’t responsible for third-party websites that a brief cites.

11. Disclaimer

Except as these terms expressly state, Triverdict and every brief are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We don’t promise that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that a brief will be complete, accurate or current.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows: (a) we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill or business opportunities, including losses from decisions you make using a brief; and (b) our total liability for all claims relating to Triverdict is limited to the fees you paid us for the project the claim relates to. These limits apply whatever the legal theory, and even if we were told the loss was possible. They don’t limit liability that can’t be limited by law.

13. Indemnity

You’ll defend and compensate CKKC for third-party claims, and the reasonable costs of them, that arise from your content, your breach of section 9, or your use of a brief in breach of the law.

14. Suspension and closing your account

You can stop using Triverdict at any time, and ask us to close your account by emailing info@ckkcassociates.com. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or puts the service or other customers at risk. If we close your account for a reason other than your breach, we’ll refund any paid project that hasn’t started. Sections 2, 5 to 8, and 11 to 16 continue to apply after your account is closed.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We’ll change the date at the top, and we’ll email account holders about material changes before they take effect. A project is governed by the terms in force when you paid for it. If you keep using Triverdict after a change takes effect, the new terms apply.

16. Disputes and governing law

If a dispute arises, email info@ckkcassociates.com first. We’ll both try in good faith to resolve it informally for 30 days. After that, either of us may go to court. These terms are governed by California law, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any claim must be brought in the state or federal courts in Orange County, California, and we both consent to their jurisdiction.

17. General

These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about Triverdict. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a provision isn’t a waiver of it. You may not transfer these terms without our written consent. We may transfer them as part of a merger or sale of the business. Neither of us is liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
